Chain (ch), single crochet (sc), double crochet (d c), stitch (st)
FIRST MOTIF

3rd rnd: Ch 5, holding back on hook the last loop of each d tr, skip first sc, d tr in next 3 sc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), * ch 5, sI st in 3rd ch from hook (picot made), ch 8, picot in 3rd ch from hook, ch 2, make a 4-d tr cluster over next 4 sc.
SECOND MOTIF

3rd rnd: Ch 5, make a 3-d tr cluster over next 3 sc, (ch 2, picot, ch 2, sI st in center of any loop on First Motif, ch 2, picot, ch 2, make cluster over next 4 sc) twice; complete rnd as for First Motif (no more joinings).
CORNER MOTIF

3rd rnd: Ch 5, make 3-d tr cluster over next 3 sc, ch 3, sI st in 4th picot preceding joining between motifs on square, * ch 1, sI st in 3rd ch of ch-3, thus joining picot, ch 6, sI st in next picot, ch 1, sI st in 5th ch of ch-6, ch 2, 4-d tr cluster over next 4 sc, ch 3, sI st in next picot.

Attach thread to any free loop at center, ch 5, holding back on hook the last loop of each d tr (make d tr in free loop of next motif) 3 times; thread over and draw through all loops on hook. Break off. Make satin pillow the same shape as motifs. Sew motifs to pillow.
