2016 is about to bid us all adieu. Just like that, 2017 is already just around the corner with only a couple of weeks to go. So before you plan for your wardrobe for next year, check out my fearless forecast of things to watch out for in terms of fashion trends from high end designers like Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Dior, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and many more. I’ve put up a pretty extensive list for all you fashion-forward ladies.

1. The Whimsical Flower Print

This 2017, we’ll bear witness to a lot of fun prints, including bold floral ones in striking colors. It’s perfect for all the fearless feminine chics out there.

2. Pink Hues

Could pink be the new black? This ultra-feminine hue dominated the Spring 2017 fashion runways as if it were a portent of what to expect in fashion world come next year. High end designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Balenciaga, and a few others gave us a glimpse of their drool-worthy dresses that’ll surely make us all pretty in pink.

3. Asymmetric Top/ Dress

Think eighties fashion. Madonna in her prime. Yup, looks like the cold shoulder isn’t  going anywhere far, so don’t you think about throwing away those off-shoulder pieces just yet.

4. Nautical Stripes

We’re not just talking about stripes here. We’re talking about the bold type-  vibrant, screaming from the afar, dying to get noticed. Because 2017 is all about audacity like it is the only way to live.

5. Kitten Heels

The 1960’s trend is back with a vengeance, so it’s safe to say you can now give your feet a break. These cute low-heeled heels popularized by the style icon Audrey Hepburn might give you just a little bit of height, but they’ll sure give you all the elegance you need to look good and feel great about yourself.

6. Micro Bags

Great things come in different shapes and sizes- even the really small ones. Céline, Chloé, Fendi, Gucci, Valentino, Hermes, Versace, and Louis Vuitton- they all have one. These micro bags are just enough for your essentials: credit cards, a few bills, and of course, the red lipstick every fashion girl needs. They’re tiny, alright, but little things can also pack a punch, can’t they?

7. FSlogan Tees

Dior’s “We Should All Be Feminists” statement shirt made a lot of waves when it hit the runway, and it’s not quite surprising why. It’s bold declaration is a celebration of feminism in itself, and we have their newly-appointed creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri to thank for that. This and a lot more graphic tees are expected to make a splash this 2017.
